A walk through our neighborhood, indeed a pleasant thing.
Walk down Edwards Ave. and see neighbors sitting on porches. Boys play in a hose.
A Grand Oak Ent oversees Mills Ave. A strange light in a dog hut, and a sweet light on house siding. A small fountain on the U of I campus and an old water feature in a backyard. A promise of summer and the warm wet eyes of a beagle.
